About Chautauqua County-Jamestown Airport
JHW is one of Chautauqua County’s two public general-aviation airports; the other is Dunkirk Airport (DKK). The county says commercial airline service is unavailable at both airports, so JHW is not a scheduled-airline gateway.
The New York State airport directory records two asphalt runways: runway 13/31 measures 4,500 by 100 feet, and runway 07/25 measures 5,299 by 100 feet. Centric Aviation is the airport’s fixed-base operator (FBO), handling flight-line services. For those services, fees and hours, contact the operator through the county’s airport information.
How do you get from JHW to Westfield?
Driving is the clearest connection described between JHW and Westfield. From the airport, allow about 42 minutes by car to reach Theater Motel, a motel in Westfield; the trip is roughly 19.9 miles.
Arrange your onward ride before arrival if you are flying privately. JHW has taxi, rental-car and courtesy-car transportation options, but the county airport page does not identify current providers or explain how to book them. Confirm availability directly with a provider rather than assuming a car will be waiting.
If you are comparing airport options, Erie International Tom Ridge Field is about 54 minutes by car from the motel.
Westfield city centre is about 32 minutes on foot or 4 minutes by car from the motel, useful context if you plan to continue into town after checking in. For a different airport route, see how to get from Erie International Airport to Theater Motel.
Car hire and other ground transport
JHW has rental cars, taxis and courtesy cars as ground-transport options, but you will need to verify current availability and booking arrangements. Centric Aviation is the FBO at the airport; ask the operator about flight-line services and hours if those details affect your arrival plans.
CHQ Transit offers scheduled routes and on-demand service in Chautauqua County, but its listing does not confirm a JHW pickup or a connection to Westfield.
The county visitors bureau also includes pre-arranged private airport transportation among local services, without specifying a JHW-to-Westfield route or fare. Confirm the pickup point, destination and cost with any provider before relying on a transfer.
